Harshly graded in our view, this 1973 Topps rookie card of Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt has corners and edges that approach NM/MT quality, but perhaps more significant is the accurate centering and lack of any significant stray print in the white background; two characteristics that rarely ever exist at this grade level. Even on the black-edged reverse, there's barely any evidence of chipping outside of the extreme endpoints.
