Jackson State may not be known as a hotbed of professional football talent but they did produce one of the game's all-time best in running back Walter Payton. Here's a strong PSA 8 example of the rookie card of "Sweetness", courtesy of the 1976 Topps set. High-end NM/MT corners compensate for the slightly shifted centering while the confident image of Payton is sharp and clear. A must-have for any football card collector.
