Each sport seems to have an ageless wonder, and in football, it was George Blanda. Blanda's 26-year career took him all the way to age 48. Passer, punter, placekicker ... Blanda was virtually a one-man team at times. Presented on this near-perfectly centered 1965 Topps "tall-boy" card, one of just 5 to rate a grade PSA 9 with none graded higher, the 38-year-old Blanda shows he still has plenty of tread left on the tires. The photo quality and color are superb and the corners are unquestionably MINT with a GEM MINT upper-left endpoint. An important card for a PSA Set Registry competitor!
