Even hockey historians would struggle with some of the names in the C55 series, but they'll know Art Ross. One of the true pioneers of the sport of hockey, Arthur Ross rose up the ranks from star defenseman to Stanley Cup winning coach to successful general manager. The player with the most points in a season wins the Art Ross Trophy, that should sum up his importance to the sport. The featured card is graded PSA 6 and is very well-preserved for the issue with an ample supply of clean image color to contrast with the impressively white frame. The NM to NM+ corners compensate for the usual centering bias. A key card to this fantastic assemblage.
