As a member of the 1888 New York Giants championship team, Hall of Famer William "Buck" Ewing earns a spot as one of six "base ball" players in the 50-card N43 Allen & Ginter collection. Graded PSA 5 and one of only six to earn this grade with just 3 graded higher, the card is graced with more robust and precise color than others in the series, making it a very eye-appealing specimen that has gone largely unmatched in the thousands of collections that were produced in the 130 years hence. The corners show moderate wear that is in line with the PSA 5 grade and the reverse understandably shows some age toning but has held up well. A spectacular piece that is sure to improve ay vintage collection.
