Famous for its portrayal of Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio, the 1941 Play Ball series is highly prized by collectors. With just 72 cards in the series, it's been a target for set-builders for decades, but most of the legwork has been done here as almost 80% of the set is featured in this offering. Two are graded by PSA; #3 Walters PSA 6.5 and 16 Trotsky PSA 7, with keys cards of #6 Hubbell VG/EX+, 8 Ott VG, 13 Foxx VG+ (MC), 15 Cronin VG (MC), 18 Greenberg VG (OC), 19 Gehringer EX/MT (OC), 20 Ruffing VG+, 60 Klein VG, and 63 DiMaggio VG/EX. Also included is an extra #19 Gehringer GOOD+. The rest of the collection is 10% EX or better, 20% VG/EX, 50% VG and 20% lower. Needed to complete the set is #1, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14 T.
