Babe Ruth left us prematurely, but had he lived to the ripe old of 90, he still wouldn't have been able to meet the demand for single-signed baseballs. Here's yet another in an impressive and tantalizing series of world-class memorabilia offerings, presented in the form of a vintage baseball signed by none other than "the Babe" himself, George Herman Ruth. This is an official Spalding "King of the Diamond" ball, an appropriate name as it seems, will well-preserved stamping. The signature, while faded over time, is large and placed across the sweet spot in black steel-tip ink, and remains clearly legible through most of the penning and especially on the "Ruth" part. The ball itself presents quite nicely, with the usual evidence of age-toning that added extra charm while the stitching is entirely intact in a deep, crimson red. If you've been looking for a chance to acquire a piece of baseball history without breaking the bank, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for, as the tendered sphere was once held in the mighty hands of the immortal Babe Ruth, widely regarded as the greatest ever to lace up a pair of baseball spikes. A full Letter of Authenticity from JSA accompanies this tremendous item.
