A subset within the 1984 Topps series that didn't get much attention when it was released, the Team USA cards contained the starting members of the 1984 US Olympic team. Highlighting this special tribute was Mark McGwire. Considered his true rookie card, having been produced more than a year before his Oakland debut, a very young McGwire is depicted with bat on shoulder and wearing his red USA jersey.
