For a grade of SGC 3, this T205 example of Hall of Famer Chief Bender seems to be harshly assessed when taking into consideration the near-perfect centering, relatively squared endpoints, and obligatory chipping that is largely localized to the extreme endpoints. The surface is clean and bold, and the only explanation we can see for denying a higher assessment is a small area or two of frayed fibers on the reverse. About as attractive of a specimen as there is at this grade level.
