In 1955, the chant of "wait 'til next year" was no longer needed by Brooklyn baseball fans when the Dodgers finally broke through and snatched the crown from the Yankees in a thrilling 7-game series. Featured is a team-signed 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers baseball with 25 signatures from the World Series-winning squad. Though heavily toned and faded in some areas, a good amount of the signings are clearly legible with perhaps the boldest of all being Roy Campanella. Fellow Hall of Famers Koufax and Lasorda and listed, as are Furillo, Hoak, Hamric, Gilliam, and Kellert. The signatures of Zimmer, Reese (2X), and Snider have been deemed clubhouse. Full LOA from JSA.
