George Kell enjoyed a 15-year career in the major leagues, during which he compiled 2054 hits and a lifetime batting average of .306, good enough for induction into Cooperstown. The offered card from the fabled 1953 Topps release depicts Kell in a clearly defined image set against a serene pastel backdrop and framed by smooth, even borders. A very minuscule hint of white shows from the extreme tip of the lower right corner but the others meet or exceed the parameters for the assigned technical grade of NM/MT 8 as determined by PSA. A beautiful rendition of a popular card from a classic set.
