Hall of Fame twirler Early Wynn was a dedicated workhorse who spent 23 seasons pitching in the big leagues, wrapping up his career with exactly 300 victories. He was given the Cy Young award in 1959 as his 22 victories played a large part in his White Sox team winning the American League pennant. He was fairly handy with the lumber as well, hitting .214 over his career and to this date, remains one of only five MLB pitchers to hit a pinch-hit Grand Slam. The offered card from the 1953 Topps issue bears the grade of NM/MT 8 as determined by PSA, with only 11 examples ever grading higher.
