Graded EX/MT 6 during a recent trip to the Newport Beach evaluation firm, the offered 1954 Topps #250 Ted Williams card certainly presents at a higher level. The remarkable levels of clarity and detail in Teddy Ballgame's face are perhaps surpassed only by the freshness of the colors and gloss while the four endpoints certainly exceed the requirements for the technical assessment, appearing NM and even approaching the NM/MT level in at least two instances. The lemon-yellow backdrop is deeply saturated upon the canvas, and the reverse is clean and boldly struck. A stunning rendition that displays in advance of the opined grade in terms of overall visual appeal.
