Ty Cobb was not only one of the greatest baseball players of all-time but was also known as a shrewd businessman, using his accumulated wealth to invest in property as well as becoming a major stockholder in the Coca-Cola Corporation. Measuring 22 1/2" x 28" in the frame, the featured 3-page letter is written on the personal stationery of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb and dated July 20th, 1935. Forgoing his preferred green ink for black, Cobb penned this letter to Mr. J. Milo Hatch of Augusta, GA in response to an inquiry on one of his properties, stating that he is willing to either sell or rent it with specific parameters for each. A wonderful image of Cobb at the dugout steps completes the piece. LOA from PSA/DNA.
