Founded in 1841, Houde & Grothe Limited merged with American Tobacco Limited, the Canadian branch of American Tobacco Company, in 1908. The offered "Home Run" cigarette tobacco tin was released north of the border just prior to the merger in 1905 and features a generic ballplayer on both sides of the tin with advertising in English and French. The tin has typical marks and abrasions expected of an almost 110 year old metal relic but presents quite nicely regardless.
