Headlining the event was a 1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal 350/30 Eddie Plank PSA 4 VG-EX, which set a record price of $318,997, Exceptional 1926-29 Exhibits Babe Ruth Postcard Back Pose Autographed PSA/DNA 1 PR AUTO 7 taking in $62,312, 1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle PSA 4 VG-EX bringing in $74,122, 1968 Topps #247 Red Rookies Johnny Bench PSA 10 GEM MINT fetching $50,166, an Exceptionally Rare 1915 Boston Red Sox Team Photo Featuring Babe Ruth In His Rookie Season, The Only Known Certified Type I PSA Authenticated Photo Of This Pose And Fresh To The Hobby, that took in $85,366 and one of the most important comic books ever produced, a 1962 Marvel Comics Amazing Fantasy #15, Origin and First Appearance of Spider-Man CGC 4.5, bringing in an impressive $33,867. “Overall, the results of our auctions remain strong”, said MHCC President and CEO Brian Drent.
