1887 Buchner Gold Coin cards are some of my personal favorites of the amazing 19th century cards in our amazing hobby. The featured card shows Hall Of Famer King Kelly in full catchers gear and offers an outstanding well centered image of the pioneer of the game. Each of the four corners shows a roundedness that provides a glimpse into just how highly esteemed Kelly was that the original owner of the card must have carried this pasteboard around like a trophy. The reverse shows an amount of staining and soiling while the obverse displays a crease that runs through the lower portion of the card. Although not of high grade the featured collectible will fit into many mid grade collections.
