Hall of Famer Amos Rusie, the "Indianapolis Thunderbolt," was a hard-throwing pitcher for the Indianapolis Hoosiers, considered by many to be the principal reason the mound was moved back from 50 feet away from the plate to the present distance of 60' 6" in 1893. He is among the scarcest Hall of Famers in the vast N172 Old Judge set, seldom coming up for auction in any condition. The offered example is encapsulated in an SGC AUTHENTIC holder, due to a bit of back damage, but it could be awhile before you get a chance to bid on another Amos Rusie rookie card, so don't let this one pass you by!
