The Canadian version of the famous 1933 Goudey Red Babe Ruth card is up for grabs here, graded SGC 40 VG 3 but presenting at a much higher level. This one presents at the EX/MT to NM level, with bold, luminous colors and corners that are easily at the EX to EX/MT level if not better. Only under close examination with magnification does a very minor flaw reveal itself: a very light wrinkle in the interior of the pasteboard, in the Babe's left shirt sleeve, barely visible with a loupe and not visible to the naked eye at all. The reverse is boldly struck in green pigment and is free of major blemishes. Truly one of the most appealing VG examples you will find, and a great addition to any advanced collection.
