Printed in 1947, Goudey attempted to re-enter the bubble gum card market after World War II, reissuing 96 cards from one of the company's most popular sets, "Indian Gum", with identical artwork on the front and a slightly modified reverse. Presented here is a group of 9 unopened packs with the original display box. This is a significant "find" as these packs are rarely, if ever, seen in any condition, much less at the supreme upper level of the grading tier. Three of the packs are just mind-boggling at a grade of MINT GAI 9, while four are graded NM/MT+ GAI 8.5 and two are NM/MT GAI 8. Accompanying this incredible offering is the original Indian Gum box, not quite in the same elite condition as the pristine packs but still extremely presentable and quite rare in its own right. Also, a NM/MT example of the Indian Head ring that the company offered in exchange for 5 box tops and 15 cents is included. The chance to acquire these amazingly well-preserved specimens awaits!
