Here's a great game-used jersey that dates back to the 1950's, when the Chicago Cardinals tried unsuccessfully to compete with the beloved Bears to capture the loyalty of the Windy City fans. Despite the effort, the Cards never did gain acceptance in Chicago and relocated in 1960 to St. Louis. This vintage jersey was worn by tackle Jack Jennings (1950-51) and/or center Jack Simmons (1952-56). Amazing game use is evident, with severe staining and several team repairs and fabric breaches on the front, back, and numerals. On the front left tail is an appropriate 50s style Wilson manufacturer's tag. LOA from Mile High Card Co.
