Not many Kansas City Athletics game-used batting helmets have survived, but this 1950s gamer shows incredible use with a small breach of the fiberglass just above the left ear. The size 7 1/8 head protector has the original padding intact though it is loose on one side. A great piece of memorabilia from a team long gone. LOA from Mile High Card Company.
