With all due respect to the 1954 and 1955 Topps sets, there is no better rookie card trio in all of baseball that the premiere of Hall of Famers Whitey Ford, Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays in the 1951 Bowman series. With Ford's debut earning the pole position as condition-sensitive card #1, this PSA 5 example offered here is a key piece toward building a respectable mid-grade set. Well centered with a crisp central image and sharp corners that give a naked-eye appearance higher than the grade. Not many can challenge this one at this grade level.
