A noteworthy piece in any advanced unopened pack collection, this is a scarce 1954-issued pouch of Red Man tobacco that shows a fresh example of Gene Woodling's over-sized All-Star Series baseball card on the front. Both the pack and the card appear to be in EXCELLENT to NM condition, but the glassine wrap is rather tattered and barely clinging to the pack at all. Nevertheless, this is a tremendously scarce tobacciana relic featuring a clean example of one of the most admired baseball cards of the era. An appealing acquisition for any advanced pack or type collector, the offered piece would also suit the fancy of any Yankees collector, as Gene was a prominent member of 5 New York World Championship teams, routinely garnering MVP votes in his best years with the Yanks.
