Originating from the glory years of the mid 1960's, this is a Green Bay Packers used road jersey of #86, 2-time Pro-Bowl receiver Boyd Dowler. There is no manufacturer's tag due to the custom cut tail, characteristic of 1960s NFL jerseys, but the garment is consistent with Sand Knit style durene Packers jerseys of the time period. Most Packers jersey of the day were yellow striped dominant, though a Packer team photo in the yearbook shows them wearing jerseys that match this one. Fraying around the numbers and a reddish tint on the sleeves suggests the jersey was used and washed many times. LOA from MEARS and Mile High Card Company.
