Widely recognized as the key rookie card in a set that offers several Hall of Famers making their pasteboard debut, the 1965 Topps Steve Carlton card has seen nearly 5000 submissions to PSA, with this MINT 9 specimen falling within the top 4% of those and only 7 copies grading higher. This one offers GEM MINT corners and unblemished white borders that offer tremendous visual appeal in contrast with the deep black frame. It's not at all clear what keeps this one from becoming the next GEM MINT 10, but it couldn't have missed by much!
