An NFL running back for 9 seasons, Larry Watkins moved over to Philadelphia after a rookie season with the Giants and donned this Eagles helmet during his time in Philly from 1970-1972, when they wore the scarce "green wings on white helmet" style. Inside the helmet is a sticker with "34" written in green marker to identify the helmet as Watkins'. All padding and chin strap appear to be present with excellent evidence of game use, while the outer shell has various chips and hit marks. A fantastic old gamer that has survived intact!
