Following a one year stint as the Seattle Pilots, baseball's newest expansion team relocated to Milwaukee, but the inaugural Milwaukee Brewers team fared almost as poorly, improving by just one win over the 64-98 Pilots team. Presented is a game-used Brewers jersey from that 1970 season, worn by starting catcher Jerry McNertney. Below the Wilson size 42 tag on the front left tail is a team embroidered "70 - McNertney" in green thread. "Brewers" on the front and "15" on the back are attached to the body with yellow tackle-twill stitching and light spotting and staining is present. A fantastic garment representing Milwaukee's return to the major leagues! LOA from Mile High Card Company.
