Another exceedingly scarce California Golden Seals game-used jersey from the colorful closet of Gilles Meloche, the Seals' #1 puck-stopper who came to California from Chicago, where a talented net-minder named Tony Esposito was already perfecting the popular new butterfly goaltending style. Hailing from either '74-75 or '75-76, the Seals' final two seasons in Cali, the offered white, durene, stretch jersey has been tagged in the neck by Gunzo with accompanying size "48" flag. Moderate to heavy traces of use with numerous puck marks on front and on both sleeves, with four small team repairs, two on the front, one on the back, and one of the left sleeve. Vented collar style, with embedded stripes and striking teal on yellow double tackle twill patchwork throughout. Inside shows light pilling and puckering underneath the patchwork. LOA signed by Meloche himself from Classic Auctions.net along with an auction house letter from Mile High Card Co.
