Although his professional statistics may not support it, few people would argue that Auburn University's Bo Jackson was the greatest all-around athlete in college history. While also successful in track & field at Auburn, Jackson was rated the #1 college player in both baseball and football and was the first player chosen in the 1986 NFL draft. Despite his intention of focusing of football, the Kansas City Royals still made him a 4th round selection in the 1986 MLB draft, which payed off in the form of 107 home runs over 4 full seasons. As an NFL running back, Jackson was a punishing runner, using his 6'1" 225lbs. frame to trample over defenders to the tune of 5.4 yards per carry. While injuries prematurely ended both careers, Bo Jackson had the athleticism to potentially be a Hall of Famer twice over. The featured jersey originates from Jackson's gridiron roots, a University of Auburn gamer with a Russell Athletic size 46 tag on the right front tail. The bottom as well as the sleeves have been custom cut and several team repairs are evident, mostly on the chest and left shoulder. Good game use is evident with stains and marks scattered throughout. "Bo knows' that this is one of the most significant college jerseys of the last 50 years! LOA from Mile High Card Company.
