Beginning in 1984, Topps began producing "Tiffany" editions of their regular and traded sets, identical in most regards to the regular issues but with brighter color and an ultra glossy coating. These factory-sealed sets were limited to just 5000 in number, significantly raising demand for key rookie cards such as Don Mattingly, Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, and, of course, Barry Bonds. Offered is a PSA 10 GEM MINT example of Bonds' 1986 Topps Traded Tiffany XRC. Hailing from a dark period during which baseball card production numbers were at an all-time high, no others Bonds rookie comes close in terms of scarcity. The offered specimen features near perfect centering, GEM MINT corners and a clean, shimmering surface that looks virtually flawless!
