Changing his name to Bison Dele in 1998 to honor his Native American and African ancestry, Brian Williams was one of the most enigmatic players in NBA history. Abruptly walking away from the game at age 30, Dele and two others disappeared while sailing in the South Pacific in 2002 and were presumed dead, his brother Miles Dobard (A.K.A. Kevin Williams) the lone survivor. An investigation led to Miles being implicated in a triple homicide, but Miles committed suicide before being brought to trial. The bodies were never recovered. As Brian Williams, he played 2 seasons in Denver and wore this throwback jersey during the 1993-1994 season. The Champion and NBA Denver Nuggets exclusivity labels appear on the front right tail. A fantastic gamer of a truly eccentric athlete whose life ended tragically and prematurely! LOA from Mile High Card Company.
