Killed in a plane crash on September 7, 2011 along with 42 members of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the Kontinental Hockey League, defenseman Ruslan Salei had a 14-year NHL career with Anaheim, Florida, Chicago, and Detroit. The presented jersey was worn by the Salei during the 2003-2004 season in Anaheim and exhibits the NHL/MeiGray Group label inside the back hem as confirmation.
