Considered by many to be the most influential first lady in American history, Eleanor Roosevelt occupied the White House during the most tumultuous period of the 20th Century. Presented is a typed letter on "Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt's" personal stationery, dated 1954 and including political content, with a hand signed penning of Eleanor Roosevelt in steel tip fountain pen. The letter measures 6" x 7" and has glue residue on the reverse from previous mounting in an album. Full LOA from JSA.
