Limited to only 150 sets (this one is #27/150 with each card hand numbered), this Bronze Bust Collector Card set includes 260 cards and depicts the sculpted bronze bust of each Hall of Fame member. Several sets of similar fashion have been produced, most notably the Ron Mix Platinum signature series, but this is easily the most difficult to acquire due to how limited the offering was. A Letter of Authenticity from the Pro Football Hall of Fame identifying this as "Set 27" is included. There are 147 total signatures, the highest total we've ever seen in a Bronze Bust set offering, including Aikman, Alworth, Biletnikoff, Bradshaw, J. Brown, Butkus, Csonka, Dawson, Dorsett, Elway, Gifford, Griese, Hornung, Jurgensen, J. Kelly, Marino, Maynard, Montana, Namath, Rice, B. Sayers, Sayers, Shula, E. Smith, Starr, Staubach, Tarkenton, Tittle, S. Young and many more. Housed in the original monogrammed binder, the set was originally sold by the NFL Hall of Fame for $5,000 each and contained 253 cards, with 7 added later to represent the 2010 class. The autographs of Marcus Allen, Troy Aikman and Michael Irvin were not part of the original set but were acquired privately, with individual COA's for those autographs.
