Stamped as property of the Philadelphia Phillies and The Sporting News on the reverse, this original 8 x 10 photo was used to create the image for the important 1949 Bowman Richie Ashburn rookie card. The photo is in excellent condition save for the typical blemishes common for its age. Also included is an Ashburn signed Government postcard, postmarked during his rookie season and authenticated by PSA/DNA with a grade of 9 MINT. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
