Bud Abbott and Lou Costello gained national notoriety for their baseball-themed 1937 comedy skit "Who's on First?", a routine so carefully orchestrated and well, funny, that it provided a framework for future comedians and lifted the comedy team of "Abbott and Costello" to legendary status. While Bud Abbott lived a relatively long life, passing in 1974 at age 77, Lou Costello tragically passed from a heart attack at only 53 years old in 1959. Understandably, autographs of Costello are rare, and even more rare when accompanied by his comedic partner. However the offered piece, the back of an unused check, contains the dark pencil signatures of both Bud Abbott and Lou Costello together.
