Before the Colorado Rockies were slamming homers, the "original" Colorado Rockies from the NHL were scoring goals. Founded in 1974 as the Kansas City Scouts, the team moved to Colorado in 1976 and played in the Mile High City until 1982, then moving east to become the New Jersey Devils. Offered is a rare and unique game-used jersey from that Colorado Rockies hockey team, used by perhaps the most notable player in the franchise's short history, Joel Quenneville. A solid defensemen for 13 seasons, Quenneville went on to a successful coaching career, posting a winning record in each of his 15 seasons and capturing a Stanley Cup championship with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2009-2010. This relic is from his 1979-1982 tenure in Colorado and displays excellent game use, with numerous large team repairs, fabric pulls, and various hit and stick marks. An extremely rare offering! LOA from Mile High Card Company.
