When 20-year old Miguel Cabrera was summoned to South Florida and led the Marlins to the franchise's first World Series championship with four post-season round trippers, it was clear that "Miggy" was going to be something special. After being traded to Detroit, Cabrera became known as the "Albert Pujols of the American League" by consistently wrapping out 30+ homers, over 100 RBI and posting a .300+ batting average year after year while capturing four batting titles, posting a Triple Crown season in 2012 and winning back to back MVP trophies 2012 and 2013. The featured bat, a Nokona NK-243 Rock Maple club, was used by Miguel Cabrera in 2007, his final campaign with the Marlins. Fantastic game use is evident with a multitude of ball marks and stitch impressions covering the black painted surface. Cabrera's number "24" is written in silver marker on both the knob (which also has an engraved "4" for bat length of 34 inches) and the end of the barrel with a silver marker signature and "game used" inscription next to the block lettering on the barrel. LOA from John Taube - PSA/DNA GU 8.5.
