Martin Magdaleno Dihigo Llanos is often referred to as the greatest player never to play in the major leagues. He spent nearly 30 years playing baseball professionally in the Negro, Cuban and Mexican leagues, and is the only player inducted into the American, Cuban and Mexican Baseball Halls of Fame, and he is also in the Dominican Republic and Venezuela Halls of Fame. Combining his Dominican, American, Cuban and Mexican statistics results in a lifetime .302 career batting average with 130 home runs (eleven seasons worth of home run totals are missing) and a 252-132 pitching record. Offered here are official Cuban government documents that are reproductions of his birth and death certificates, bearing official stamps and live signatures of Cuban government officials. Dated 1981 and 1984, these documents were likely regenerated by the Cuban government at the request of surviving family members for an unknown legal purpose.
