1961 Topps Baseball Set Ranked #2 and World Class 1933 Goudey Set With Lajoie Headline Mile High Card Company’s March 19th Auction.

Centennial, CO – As we enter the start of a new baseball season, Mile High Card Company is pleased to announce its March Auction, set to go live on March 2nd and conclude on March 19th. This event offers the typically incredible selection of high-profile cards, memorabilia and sets that have become the hallmark of every MHCC auction. "We’re very happy with the content of this auction and especially pleased about the 1933 Goudey and 1961 Topps sets as well as a M101-4 Babe Ruth rookie card, the finest in existence for the grade” said MHCC founder and CEO Brian Drent.

Graded EX 5, the offered M101-4 Sporting News card that introduced Babe Ruth to baseball card collectors is quite spectacular, well-centered without the print lines that are present on virtually every example. And if you’re a Ruth collector, you’ll be ecstatic over the break-up of a world-class 1933 Goudey set, which features PSA 8 Babe Ruth cards of #144 and #181 as well as PSA 7 cards of #53 and #149. Lou Gehrig’s #92 is also PSA 8, and the majority of the cards are in the PSA 8 and PSA 7 range, capped off with the amazingly rare #106 Napoleon Lajoie, graded PSA 6.
